I recently started two special photo projects that focus on rescue dogs and assistance dogs.
Rescue dogs often have a difficult or uncertain past, but thanks to fostering and adoption, they're given a second chance. My goal with this project is to tell their stories, showcase their beauty, and demonstrate how much love and zest for life they radiate, regardless of their origins.

I'm currently busy processing all the responses. Due to the large number of enthusiastic applicants, I'm closing registrations.
There's nothing as special as a dog finding its forever home. In this project, I capture how these dogs blossom, from their first, sometimes hesitant steps in the shelter to fully coming to life with their new family. Together with the shelter and their owners, I want to show how their characters develop, how they grow in confidence, and how their unique personalities slowly emerge. My photos reveal how strong, resilient, loving, and special each dog is, purely through their own story, without words, just by their presence and the small moments that make them so special. Through these images, I hope to show the magic of a second chance and inspire others through the strength and beauty of the dogs themselves.
Project about assistance dogs
Soms komen er in een mensenleven ontmoetingen die alles veranderen. Een hulphond is daar een prachtig voorbeeld van. Voor dit fotoproject wil ik één of twee duo’s, een baasje en zijn of haar hulphond, volgen vanaf het prille begin. Ik leg het hele traject vast: de eerste stappen in de training, het groeien van vertrouwen, en de momenten waarop jullie écht een team worden in het dagelijks leven. Met mijn foto’s wil ik zichtbaar maken hoe magisch deze band is en welke impact een hulphond kan hebben op het leven van zijn baasje. Niet alleen het eindresultaat, maar juist ook de weg ernaartoe: de kleine overwinningen, de stille blikken, de verbondenheid die groeit. Daarom ben ik op zoek naar een of twee duo’s die net gestart zijn of binnenkort starten met hun hulphondentraject.
